All Tomatoes
A Grappoli d’Inverno
(Semi-determinate. Red grape-sized paste. Early-mid). Even though this is a variety that shines when dried or roasted, I found that it was still surpisingly good fresh. This is a variety that is hung to dry and use throughout winter in Italy.
Alaskan Fancy
(Determinate. Red plum. Early) Mild with a little hint of acid. I think these are better suited to making sauce than fresh eating, but it would be good in a salad. 2 oz.
Amethyst Jewel
(Indeterminate. Small (1.85 oz) slicer or cocktail. Early. One of the most beautiful and productive tomatoes in our 2024 garden. Smooth, mild, with good texture and pleasant flavor. Skin isn't too thick. Has a good shelf life on the counter. Dusky pink with very dark, almost black shoulders.
Barry’s Crazy Cherry
(Indeterminate. Mid-season) This one became a new favorite in 2024. They have a fruity flavor that my son couldn’t get enough of. It did really well with low water as well and kept well for an extended amount of time on the counter.
Bellstar
(Determinate. Plum. Early). Good for fresh eating and processing. Jointless, meaning you pick them without the stem. Good production and shelf life.
Berkeley Tie-Dye Pink
(Indeterminate. Slicer. Mid-season) Wine-colored beefsteak with metallic green stripes. Medium sized fruit with excellent sweet, rich, complex flavor. Good production. We have had this in just about every garden since we started growing it in 2016.
Black Hole Sun
(Indeterminate. Cherry. Mid season) Purpleish red cherry with green on shoulders. Good flavor!
Black Sea Man
(Determinate. Slicer. Late-season) Delicious! Full, balanced flavor with a nice little punch to it. Small plant (2-3’) on which tomatoes ripen over a roughly 2 week period. Rich purpleish red slicer with dark green streaking on shoulders.
Blondkopfchen
(Indeterminate. Cherry. Early) A staple in our garden for the last 8 years. Our kids have eaten these right out of the garden their entire lives. They are a multiflora variety, meaning they produce many fruits in clusters. Yellow, delicious, refreshing, and balanced - not too sweet and not too tart.
Bloody Butcher
(Indeterminate. Saladette. Early) Solid tomato flavor, balanced. Red small slicer/saladette.
Blue Cream Berries
(Indeterminate. Cherry. Early) Yellow cherry tomato with purple blush on shoulders. Juicy and fruity flavor. Productive plant.
Cherokee Purple Cherry
(Indeterminate. Cherry. Early to mid season) Delicious, bright strong balanced flavor. Plant is very vigorous.
Ciliegia Gialla
Early. Yellow cherry. Indeterminate. Tart but well balanced. Good strong flavor. Performed very well in our 2024 garden, and was one of our favorite cherry varieties. Has a good shelf life on the counter and not prone to cracking.
Cinnamon Girl
(Indeterminate. Cherry. Early to mid season) Very good, bright balanced flavor - tart with a little sweetness.
Cosmic Purple Rain
(Indeterminate. Cherry. Early to mid season) Very good slightly tart and bold flavor. We love them. Bred by Wild Mountain Seeds in Colorado.
Cowboy
(Indeterminate. Slicer. Mid-season) Robust flavor, nicely acidic, with a meaty texture. I got very large fruits that were well suited for use on a sandwich or fancy grilled cheeses, but they were also amazing just cutting up and snacking on, with or without salt. Pretty deep maroon color.
Coyote
(Indeterminate. Cherry. Early) Tart. Delicious. A little fruity. Tiny yellow cherry tomatoes, very abundant. We have grown it in the kids’ garden for the last three years. They always request it!
Dwarf 1999
(Dwarf. Cherry. Early) Fruity, tart burst of good flavor. Very productive. Yellow with dusky purple splashes on shoulders.
Dwarf Flashy Ace Variegated
(Dwarf. Slicer. Early to Mid-season) Good flavor and productive, sweet red fruit. Young plants are variegated.
Dwarf Gandolf Variegated
(Dwarf. Slicer. Mid-season) Good flavor and productive, yellow and red fruit. Young plants are variegated.
Dwarf Grinch Cherry
(Dwarf. Cherry. Mid-season) Very good sweet, medium intensity flavor that is a little savory. Kids love it. Tall dwarf.
Dwarf Little Red Corvette
(Dwarf. Cherry. Early) A nice burst of flavor with tropical fruitiness. Pretty dusky pink with antho (dark purple) splashed shoulders.
Dwarf Orange Cream
(Dwarf. Slicer. Mid-season) Good and balanced. Fruity, has a nice supporting acid flavor that isn't overpowering. Flavor lingers on tongue.
Dwarf Pico’ s Pride
(Dwarf. Slicer. Early) Nice bright flavor! Productive. Young plants are variegated. Yellow small slicer.
Dwarf Rebel Starfighter Bravado
(Dwarf. Slicer. Mid-season) Very good tomato flavor - complex and a little fruity. Pretty striped fruit.
Dwarf Rebel Starfighter Dipper’s Delight
(Dwarf. Slicer. Mid-season) Wow! Bold tomato flavor, delicious. Pretty striped fruit.
Dwarf Shamrock
(Dwarf. Slicer. Late season) Nice complex flavor. Blanced with tart and a slightly sweet finish.
(Dwarf. Slicer. Mid-season) Wow flavor, very rich, bold, and complex. Mahogany colored beefsteak with good production.
Dwarf Tasmanian Chocolate
(Dwarf. Slicer. Mid-season) Mahogany colored small slicer with green stripes.
Dwarf Twister
(Dwarf. Slicer. Mid-season) Great complex flavor. Very good when I tried it with salt as well. Good production.
Dwarf Wild Spudleaf
(Determinate. Plum. Early) Very productive with 2 oz plum tomato. Paste-type that is good for drying and saucemaking.
Fiaschetto di Manduria
(Indeterminate. Cocktail. Early-mid) Slight fruitiness, balanced. My son would eat this one right out of the garden, even though it's much larger than a cherry tomato. Keeps for a long time on the counter and is very productive.
Gajo de Melon
(Indeterminate. Saladette. Mid-season.) Very productive. Firm medium sized fruit that kept on the counter for a long time. Multi-purpose - fresh eating or processing. Definitely will be a repeat in our garden.
German Lunchbox
Girl Girl’s Weird Thing
(Indeterminate. Slicer. Mid-season) Great strong tomato flavor. Adding salt transforms it into a great savory flavor. Beautiful striped beefsteaks.
Green Doctor’s Frosted
(Indeterminate. Cherry. Early) So good. Nice balance of sweet, flavorful, fruity. Green when ripe cherry tomato.
Gypsy
(Indeterminate. Slicer. Mid-season) Delicious - fruity and complex. I didn't get great production in my 2024 garden, but it probably had more to do with growing in ground and not enough water. Deep purplish red with green streaking on shoulders.
Hungry Like the Wolf
(Indeterminate. Cherry. Mid-season) Mahogany color with green on shoulders. Bright bold flavor

(Indeterminate. Grape cherry tomato. Early) Nice mild flavor that's great in salads. Yellow grape shape.
lndigo Cherry Drops
(Indeterminate. Cherry. Early) Productive plant. Sweet, with a hint of fruitiness. The kids love it.
lndigo Orange Supertress
(Indeterminate. Cherry. Late) Orange cherry tomato with purple shoulders and lots of fruit on each tress.
lndigo Sungold
(Indeterminate. Cherry. Mid season) Productive plant.
lrish Stripes
(Indeterminate. Slicer. Mid-season) I got a good number of these beefsteaks. Full, robust tomato flavor. Beautiful fruit with stripes.
Jaune Flamme
(Indeterminate. Slicer. Mid-season) Small bright orange tomatoes. Good for slicing into salads and eating fresh. I have a feeling they'd be delicious roasted too.
Japanese Black Trifele
(Indeterminate. Slicer. Mid-season) Well rounded flavor, but on the sweeter side rather than tarter side. Complex and smokey, we like adding it to soups and chili for depth of flavor. Deep color and most are a large pear shape.
Karma Purple
(Indeterminate. Large cherry/cocktail. Mid-late season)
Kiss the Sky
(Indeterminate. Large cherry/cocktail. Mid-season) I couldn’t believe how productive this plant was in our 2024 garden. And excellent balanced flavor to boot. Dusky purple color, saladette size - 54 grams.
Kozula 24
(Indeterminate. Slicer. Mid-season) balanced, complex flavor, fruity, not acidic. My neighbor loved this one too when we did a taste test. Good production. Pretty striping.
(Indeterminate. Saladette. Mid-season) pear-shaped saladette tomato. Good, balanced slightly tart and fruity flavor that lingers. Multiflora. Good production. Pretty striping.
Lucfichoise
(Indeterminate. Slicer. Mid-season) Great flavor, balanced and rich. Beautiful orange color with antho (blue/black) shoulders. Good production.
Lucid Gem
(Indeterminate. Cherry. Early) Yellow cherry tomato, multiflora. Mild sweet flavor.
Microwein
Mortgage Lifter
(Indeterminate. Slicer. Long-season) Deep pink beefsteak with a sweet rich flavor. Good production. Can be up to 2 lb, but mine are usually closer to 1 lb.
Moonlight Mile Variegated
(Indeterminate. Slicer. Mid-season) Good, rich flavor. Variegated plant. Kept some variegation as the season advanced whereas other variegated plants lost their variegation. Purple/pink tomato with green stripes.
My Dancing Green Fingers
(Indeterminate. Elongated cherry. early to mid-season) Amber green when ripe. Delicious and sweet with a slight umami flavor. Very productive plants.
Painted Lady Variegated
(Indeterminate. Cocktail. Mid-season) Nice delicate acidity. I liked it. Good in salad. Variegated young plants.
(Indeterminate. Paste. Mid-season) Meaty interior and very productive. Great for freezing and making sauce.
Pink Fang
(Indeterminate. Slicer. Mid-Season) Delicious, bright and nice acidity that’s balanced. Almost citrusy. Melts in your mouth. Yellow beefsteak with good production.
Porkchop
(Indeterminate. Cherry. Early) Tart with a bit of sweetness. Last a long time on the counter. Purple striped cherry.
Purple Bumblebee
(Indeterminate. Saladette. Very early) Pleasant fruitiness, bright, and good flavor for how early it is. Would be good in a salad. It was ripening at 37 days after transplant, which is the earliest variety I have found to date.
Quedlinburger Fruhe Liebe
(Indeterminate, early, cocktail). Gorgeous coloration (striped near-black, crimson, and orange) and very good production. We used these for roasted salsa. Good flavor and not bland.
Queen of the Night
Raspberry Lyanna
(Indeterminate. Saladette. Mid-season) Medium multi-purpose tomato. Sweet and rich flavor.
(Indeterminate. Slicer. Mid-season). Lovely fruity balanced flavor. Mahogany 185 g (medium) tomatoes with green shoulders. Productive.
Raspberry Mochi
(Indeterminate. Small slicer. Early-mid) Good flavor. Extremely productive. Small beautiful slicer, yellow with purple striping on the shoulders.
Rebel Starfighter Kayleigh Anne
Reinhard’s Purple Sugar
(Indeterminate. Cherry. Early-mid season) Good and sweet. Almost notes of wine. Purple cherry.
Rose Quartz Multiflora
(Indeterminate. Cherry. Early-mid season) Pleasant balanced, mild flavor.
San Marzano
(Indeterminte. Paste. Mid-Season) Very productive red canning tomato.
(Indeterminate. Grape cherry. Mid season) Purple grape/cherry. Nice tomato flavor, slight acid punch, but balanced. Would be good on a salad. Not prone to cracking. These are a multiflora variety- many fruit grow in each cluster, which I noticed more later in the season than early on. Very productive.
Stormin Norman
(Indeterminate. Cherry. Early. Hybid) It was very hard for me to decide whether I liked sungold or sun sugar better in terms of a hybrid to grow in my garden. On any given day of snacking on them in the garden I would go back anf forth. Sun sugar has a big burst of flavor and are delicious! Bright orange. I think the sun sugars have a little more intensity of flavor -sweet and tangy, and the sun golds might have a touch less of the acid and are sweet dominant. Really you can't go wrong with either if you're looking to add a hybrid into your garden. Sun Sugar may be a little less prone to cracking.
Sun Sugar (F1)
(Indeterminate. Cherry. Early. Hybrid) The only hybrid that has earned a place in our garden every year. Very sweet juicy burst of flavor with fruity notes. Vigorous plant with good production and no pest or disease problems in our 2023 garden. Intense fruity burst of flavor. Very sweet bright orange cherry tomatoes.
Sungold (F1)
(Indeterminate. Cherry. Early) Red small cherry tomatoes. Very good. Sweet and packs a flavor punch.
Sweet Aperitif
(Indeterminate. Cherry. Late) Yellow cherry tomato
Sweet Beverly
(Indeterminate. Slicer. Mid-season) Copper beefsteak, not the most productive when I grew it in 2023, but the flavor was excellent. Complex, smokey, and sweet.
Thorburn’s Terra-Cotta
(Indeterminate. Cherry. Early) Sweet, but not strong, and have more of a savory flavor than most cherry tomatoes I've ever tried. My daughter loved these ones. Tiny yellow tomatoes for her tiny fingers! Very productive.
Tim’s Taste of Paradise
(Indeterminate. Cherry. Early) A little sweet and fruity, balanced. Not prone to cracking. Red and orange striped large cherry.
Tropical Sunset
(Indeterminate. I’d call it a Paste. Mid-season) Sweet at first. Little acid to balance it. These are supposeed to be a long keeper (the fruit lasting long into winter), but I don't believe I was giving them the right storage conditions. Personally I'd roast them and put them in salsa or sauce. Good amount of production. Yellow heart shape.

(Indeterminate. Cherry. Early season) Yellow cherry tomatoes with bright flavor.
Yellow Quartz Multiflora
(Indeterminate. Slicer. Mid season) Complex, almost fruity. I found it to have best flavor when it was riper. Young plants are variegated. Yellow with orange streaks.

(Indeterminate. Cherry. Early season) Complex, almost fruity. I found it to have best flavor when it was riper. Young plants are variegated. Yellow with orange streaks.
